There is a burnt socket on the first floor which needs to replaced. The light on the ground floor has stopped working, the dimmer switch doesnt appear to "click" anymore so I think it's a broken dimmer switch.

Wall light installation via electrical box

I have two wall lights to be installed. I tried myself but the light didn’t come on. Need an electrician to install and fix if necessary. The wires are now insulated with electrical tape.

Hole drilling in wall to install x2 wall lights not into electrics as it’s for visuals not to be in the wall. Plugs and screws ideally in brass needed. The lights are eye level and ideally a laser measure needed to make sure they’re put evening either side of bed. Remove and replace a light fitting that no longer works in our kitchen. Currently only one spotlight works (but flickers). Some ancient and interesting-looking wiring going on. Haven’t bought the new light fitting yet, but will likely be a smaller spotlight trio. Have tried: replacing bulbs, checking fuse, wiring in light switch etc.
