I hoard stuff. My parents were war generation, so “make do and mend” mentality. Throwing away was only rarely allowed. Then bad marriage meant no money to spend on anything other than essentials. I took on a small allotment with my husband, cleared the space, planted a few things, put up a shed, and he became ill with cancer. He stopped work so I had to work much more, and this hobby got neglected. I would SO much like to get the space functional and lovely again so that when my husband is better, he can sit outdoors and hopefully help with the fruit and vegetables. It's approx 5 x 5 metres. Ground work needs redoing, want to complete a small Hügelkultur bed and re-establish at least one more small bed + a row of pots. I can provide labour/instruction/assistance, all materials and equipment. And food and drink 😊 Approx 12 hours' labour over 2 days for one person in addition to myself, or a one day blitz for two people in addition to myself. As budget is very limited would prefer a local person (or two).
