We’re looking for a qualified structural engineer to carry out an assessment to confirm whether a hot tub can be safely installed on a penthouse terrace (11th floor) of a modern residential apartment block in London. The building management has given conditional approval, but they require a structural verification to ensure that: • The terrace can safely support the static and dynamic load of the filled hot tub and occupants. • Vibration and movement from the hot tub will not impact the structure or apartments below. • There is no risk of structural damage or excessive stress on the terrace slab or waterproofing. • The installation will not create liability risks for the property owner What’s Required: • Site visit and assessment (address in Kings Cross provided upon assignment). • Review of building plans if available. • Load and vibration analysis for the specific hot tub model (we’ll provide specs). • Written report/certification stating whether installation is structurally safe, plus any recommendations or reinforcement requirements if needed. Ideal Person: • Chartered or experienced Structural Engineer (MIStructE / CEng preferred). • Experience with roof terrace or high-rise structural load assessments. • Able to provide a formal report suitable for submission to building management and insurance.

I am seeking assistance dismantling and removing some decking that I had installed in my patio to hold an inflatable hot tub. Light carpentry or construction skills would be required. I need someone to fill approx 17 small holes from nails around the house, dismantle the rails, curtain rails in one room and a light shade from the ceiling and help me carry a double bed from under the house to the room and also need help diflating the hot tub outside, please if anyone can help?
