hair straightener ghd platinum model s8t261 light is flashing red and it's not heating up

I stood on my GHDs so they have snapped at the hinge - they still turn on and there plates work fine it just needs hinged back together

My GHD Platinum + Professional hair straighteners have not been working for a while. When I switch then on the light is red and they make strange beaping noise I have not heard before. They also don’t heat up. Ive tried everything, but they still don’t work.

The GHD Gold edition straighteners will not turn on when plugged in. They have a European plug. I believe what may have happened is that I put them into a bathroom shaving socket and the fuse went. But I am not 100%.

The straighteners have stopped working. They do turn on and off but do not stay on for long or need to be held in a certain position to get them to stay on.
