We are looking for *at least 2 people* experienced in moving large bulky furniture. We bought a large furniture unit at a charity shop. There is plenty of space in the flat, but the shop staff who delivered it were unable to get it up the stairs to the 1st floor. We believe it will be possible for an expert furniture mover to get it into the flat. The unit is approx. 8ft long but short and narrow, so there is some scope to manoeuvre it. It is solid wood, so quite heavy and it *cannot be dismantled* (except drawers). It will require at least 2 people to carry and manoeuvre. Initially, we are looking for advice on the feasibility of moving the unit into the flat only. Come and see the space for yourself - £30 to make it worth your time. If you can do it, we will pay an additional £100 to actually move it. We can provide measurements and photos in advance. The unit will be on site so there is no need for a vehicle, it's just being moved up the stairs. We'd like someone who can do this on a weekend or after 5pm in the week.
