The job involves fitting an electric number plate bracket, securely mounting the mechanism, routing and concealing the wiring neatly, connecting it to the vehicle's power supply, and testing that it operates correctly. Experience fitting accessories such as dash cams, reversing cameras, parking sensors, LED lighting, or similar vehicle electronics would be ideal. I'm looking for a clean, professional installation with no loose or visible wiring.

I need help diagnosing and repairing an electrical issue in my converted van. The setup uses the main starter battery to charge an auxiliary/leisure battery, which then powers the internal lights and water pump. The auxiliary battery is losing charge when the van is left unused. I would like someone with experience of campervan or 12V vehicle electrics to inspect the system, identify whether there is a parasitic drain, charging fault, wiring issue or battery problem, and carry out any appropriate repairs. I would also appreciate advice on whether the auxiliary battery, starter battery or any charging components need replacing. Please bring suitable testing tools, such as a multimeter, and let me know about any experience you have with converted vans, leisure batteries, split-charge systems or DC-to-DC chargers.

Headlights and rear lights turn on and off by themselves even when driving and parked. It started after I had a crash front end a few years ago and it’s never been the same since. I had replaced the switch a few month ago and it was fine for a few weeks then started again. I think there’s an underlying issue maybe a loose connection. When driving and the lights go off I hit the switch hard which can fix it.
