I recently moved into my new flat, but upon a visit by British Gas, I found out that the boiler didn’t meet compliance regulations. I need this done before I Airbnb it out for a few weeks from 21st Oct. The things that need to be done are 1. Remove the non-heat resistant foam around the pipe at the top going to the vent outside. 2. Cementing around the pipe/vent on inside and outside to seal it 3. Stick the tiles back to the wooden panel under the boiler and make it so it is easy to access the taps when needed (they weren’t accessible before) 4. Remove some of the board around the boiler. You will need to bring your own materials e.g. cement, tile adhesive, grout, saw etc. Thanks

Hello, I need a boiler service certificate for a boiler in my restaurant. I believe the boiler itself is a domestic-type boiler, although it is installed in a commercial property. I have attached a photo of the boiler so you can check. The boiler is working perfectly fine. My main reason for arranging this is that my landlord has asked me to provide a valid boiler service certificate. I would therefore need the inspection/service to be carried out by someone who is properly qualified and authorised to issue a valid certificate. I would prefer not to have unnecessary work carried out on the boiler since it is working fine, but if servicing is required in order to issue the certificate, that is absolutely fine. Could you please let me know if you can do this and how much you would charge? Thank you.
