What do CPR training services include?

CPR training services include all the tasks and activities necessary to teach students to become skilled in administering this life-saving technique to those who need it. This can consist of learning how to assess the situation and know when and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) or apply CPR. 

The course can include learning how to apply CPR the right way and the correct ways to apply them to infants, children and adults. 

Assessing the situation

Your CPR instructor can teach you the essential first step: assess the situation and determine whether it’s safe to perform CPR in the immediate vicinity. If necessary, they may show you how to move the patient safely to another area. In some cases, you want to make sure you are physically fit to do this. 

Early into the emergency, your instructor can advise you to exhaust all means of getting help, whether it’s to alert bystanders or call for medical services. If the person is unconscious but breathing, your Tasker can teach you how to place the patient in the recovery position until help arrives. If they are unconscious and not breathing, your Tasker can show you how to apply CPR. 

Performing CPR

Performing CPR can vary depending on whether the patient is an infant, child or adult. Some Taskers can demonstrate how to do this on one or all three types of patients. You may have to specify which kind of patient you wish to learn to do CPR when you book the service.
