We have a Roman blind in a bedroom whose string has become disconnected from the blind itself, and needs to be reattached somehow.

I need some help putting up Venetian blinds

Since having tiles done in the kitchen our Venetians blinds are now a smidge too long. We need them trimming down roughly half inch each side so they fit.
