I purchased an aftermarket android 10 head unit for my 2012 mazda cx9. powers on and works as expected except for no audio. I've tried hooking together the amp cont. wire with 12v acc and the amp remote factory wire but still nothing. I only get audio when I go into car settings and manually adjust treb., bass, AudiPLT, etc. This tells me the amp is only waking up under manual trigger. I actually hear the popping of it turning on after a manual trigger. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Airtaskers, I would like to work with someone that has experience designing a car audio install and experience in car audio installation. I am looking to understand: 1. How to select speaker size for my vehicle so that they will fit in existing location( i have information from Crutchfield) 2. How to compare speaker brands 3. How to appropriately listen to speakers to be able to reflect what I am going to get in the car 4. How to select amplifiers 5. How to select cabling 6. Help in understanding different sound deadener brands/products 7. What features to look for in a headunit that allows me to have adjustable EQ settings, crossover, time correction, enable precise sound tuning 8. Compare headunit brands (Alpine, Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood, JVC) 9. Additional - I'd like to gain an understanding of building a subwoofer housing and to learn about whether the wood used makes a big difference in quality Sessions 1. We can do this either over the phone or using video call in 1 6-8 hour session 2. We can schedule several sessions over a 1 week or 2 week period. I need help with bouncing ideas off of someone with construction/building knowledge or someone that is just very handy/good with making things themselves. I want to build a lifesize box (two sides and a ceiling only, back not needed) that someone can stand inside and if there could also be a door attached to it that could swing open that would be great. I have a design background so i am able to assist and draw it out and get all the measurements etc. but Im not sure what types of hinges+screws etc are good and the best and easiest way to cosntruct something like this and what sort of supports are stable for this. It should be very simple to set up (pre-drilled holes etc. that just need to be screwed in on arrival). the box would roughly be 1x1x2m - something around there (or whatever standard sizes are available). I also jsut want to learn how to use tools and build things myself so if anyone is willing to teach i'd also be open to ongoing classes.
