I need an experienced builder or carpenter to repair, replace, and paint the diagonal wooden cladding located on the first floor above the porch roof, as shown in the photos. The scope of work includes: Timber Assessment & Replacement: Inspect the diagonal wooden cladding boards, remove rotted or damaged sections, and install matching new timber boards. Surface Preparation: Scrape, sand, and prep all existing and new wood surfaces to ensure proper adhesion for painting. Painting / Staining: Apply a weather-resistant exterior paint or wood stain to the entire cladding section for a protected, uniform finish. painting lead flashing on porch roof Access & Requirements: Ladder Access Required: Contractors will need to bring appropriate ladders to safely access and work above the sloped porch roof level. Must have proven experience with exterior timber carpentry, cladding repairs, and painting. Please provide your estimated timeframe and confirm you have the proper ladders/equipment for working at this height when applying.

Hi, I have an Audi with a black cloth headliner. There are several small puncture holes in a line in the roof lining above the front seats. The lining is not sagging and the foam isn’t showing — it’s just small holes in the fabric. Can these be repaired, or would the whole headliner need retrimming? I’m in SE19 / Crystal Palace. Second floor flat-roofed dormer. The external windowsill is completely spongy/rotten — it was repainted last year so visually it looks fine. The bottoms of the painted timber boards on both sides of the dormer have gone too and will need new hardwood (splicing etc.). The horizontal tops need repairing too (beneath the roofing felt). There's no drip trim on the flat roof edge which probably doesn't help, could you add one? What I'm after: - Rotten sill cut out, new one fitted (I have the sill here — no need to supply) - Bottoms of the cheek boards cut out and new timber spliced in - Boards to finish clear of the tiles with a lead soaker underneath - All cut ends primed, sill with a drip groove - Top section of the dormer repaired rather than replaced - Preservative, undercoat and topcoat in white The window is a Kloeber timber tilt & turn casement fitted in 2015. Access is above a tiled pitch. Tell me whether you'd use scaffolding, a tower or a cherry picker and what that adds. You'll need public liability cover. Thank you
