We have a leak that seems to be caused by a large gap between a second floor patio and the external wall (wood veneer). It has been suggested that installing a piece of flashing would fix the leak. if that fixes the leak we would have additional work around cleaning up damage to interior and exterior paint and a box that is fitted around the leaking down-pipe..

Hi, I’m looking for an experienced Carpenter / Handyman to assist with some work at my weatherboard house. 1. Replace rotted cement sheet & plinth from the bottom plate/wall base. 2. Pack out the cavity with H4 timber for structural support. 3. Create a French Drain (socked Agi pipe + Blue Metal gravel) along the north wall, and tie the new Agi pipe into the main stormwater system. 4. Check all stormwater connections are works good and repair a broken 90mm PVC L-shape downpipe I am happy to receive a total quote for the whole project or separate quotes for individual tasks if you specialize in one area. If you are a carpenter, I'd prioritize the timber repair first. If you are a general handyman, I'm open to a combined offer. Please bring your own tools Experience with weatherboard homes is a must I can help with some prepare works Looking for someone to start from mid to late Feb. Photos attached.
