I have existing 3x Cat6 Ethernet cables already run through my house, but I’m struggling to terminate the RJ45 ends reliably. I’m looking for someone experienced specifically in Ethernet/data cabling to: * correctly terminate the existing Cat6 cables (T568B) * replace/reterminate any ends I’ve done incorrectly * test each complete cable run end-to-end with a proper network cable tester The cables are already installed, so I don’t need new cable runs or drilling. I have my own RJ45 connectors/keystones, crimping/termination tools and network cable tester. Experience with home networks, structured cabling, patch panels or network installation preferred.

Network cabling professional needed to relocate an existing RJ45 network socket (cat5e) and surface-mounted back box higher up a wall. This is at one of my customer sites. I run a small IT company, and the existing socket/back box has been damaged after being repeatedly knocked by a fridge, which is now causing connectivity issues. The job involves: - Supplying and fitting a new surface-mounted back box - Reusing/reterminating the existing network cable and RJ45 module where appropriate - Relocating the socket higher up the wall, clear of the fridge - Testing the connection after completion - Leaving the installation neat, secure and professionally finished (existing trunking can be left in place with the cover on, just make a new exit point higher up the trunking for the new backbox position) Providing clear photos of the RJ45 module termination and the completed installation Please only respond if you have experience with structured network cabling and RJ45 termination.

Looking for an experienced data technician or electrician to install a point-to-point network extension in the reception area of a dental practice. The job involves running a new Ethernet line around the perimeter of the room to bridge internet from one side to the other. Scope of Work: - Remove Old Trunking: Take down a section of existing surface trunking along part of the path (houses an existing cable). - Install New Trunking: Supply and install approximately 16 metres of new, clean white PVC surface-mounted trunking along the walls. New trunking MT2 26×16mm to house both the existing cable and the new network cable. All trunking corners must be mitre-cut (cut diagonally at 45-degree angles) - Run Cable: Supply and route white Cat6 network cable through the new trunking. No drilling is required. - Install Sockets: Supply, mount, and terminate two white single RJ45 wall sockets (one on each end of the run) along with white surface mounted box so internet can be plugged in on one side and received on the other. - Test: Verify the connection works and then put trunking lids on. • Please bring all necessary material (in white) as well as tools (trunking cutters, punch-down tool, cable tester). • Please leave workspace clean and tidy.

Scope of work: Terminate approximately 8-10 raw Cat5e network cables with RJ45 male plugs. Wall-mount a network switch securely onto the cupboard wall space (see photo) using standard wall plugs and screws. Trace, tone, and label which cable corresponds to which room/wall faceplate around the house. Connect, patch into the switch, and test continuity across all ports to ensure working internet connectivity. Neaten, route, and cable-tie all cabling (including the loose coaxial lines) for a tidy finish. Requirements: Please bring your own crimping tools, RJ45 connectors, cable tester / toner, and drill/fixings for plasterboard or masonry mounting. Network switch provided on site.
