Looking for an experienced carpenter/joiner to build fitted storage in a small hallway entrance area. There was previously a built-in bookcase here which has been removed, so the area is currently rough/unfinished. Photos show the current space and I’ve included a mock-up showing roughly what I’m looking for. The unit would ideally include: * Shallow fitted shoe storage, approx. 20cm deep due to hallway * 2 or 3 fully closing tilt-out shoe compartments * Shoes stored sideways due to the limited depth * Full-width shallow drawer above for keys, wallet etc. * Shelf/top surface above the drawer * Small separate access door/panel for the existing water meter and pipework * Built neatly around the existing frame so it feels in-built * Make good any visible rough areas Simple mid-century modern look, ideally wood/wood veneer. Happy to discuss most cost-effective materials, and will paint myself. I’m also considering a fixed light above the future mirror, with a discreet switch around/under shelf level. I’ll arrange for an electrician to check feasibility and the best cable route before the unit is built. If you’re also qualified to carry out the electrical work, happy for this to be included/discussed as part of the job. The water meter must remain easily accessible. It currently projects slightly from the wall, as shown in the photos. I’m looking for someone who can measure the space, advise on the best construction/materials, supply materials and build/install the unit. Please include materials in your offer, or let me know separately what you estimate materials will cost. Would be helpful to see examples of similar fitted storage/cabinetry you’ve built. Parking on site available (underground car park). ***Please only offer if you have experience with bespoke fitted furniture/cabinetry, and include a couple of examples of similar work you’ve completed. I’m more interested in finding the right person for the job than the earliest availability.***

The vinyl is a thick, textured marble film, so you'll need experience working with architectural wraps like Cover Styl or 3M DI-NOC. The job involves cleaning and prepping the surfaces, applying primer on the edges, and heat-forming the vinyl using a heat gun for a smooth, bubble-free finish. You must bring your own wrapping tools (heat gun, squeegees, primer, sharp blades/precision cutters). Main tasks will be wrapping the edges cleanly and making precise, water-tight cuts around the sink and appliances. Please mention your experience with architectural vinyl or share a few photos of previous wrapping jobs when you offer.

Hi, I am looking to have the following works completed for a 13.44 sq m bedroom: - Window trims: Replace the existing window trims on two windows (one standard window and one smaller transom‑style window). Current trims are a mix of UPVC and timber. - ⁠Radiator replacement and pipework: Remove the existing radiator, install a new radiator (600mm x 800mm convector-style) on the same wall but repositioned to the left so that it sits beneath the smaller window (as shown in the image), and replace and reroute the associated pipework to the opposite side of the wall. The pipe run is a straightforward, unobstructed line. I would also like the new pipework to be boxed in to a finished standard. - ⁠ Skirting: Remove all existing skirting boards and install new skirting throughout the bedroom. - Skimming and painting: skimming of damaged parts, followed by painting. Wallpaper has already been removed by me. - Remaining wallpaper removal: Remove any remaining wallpaper behind the window trims, behind the radiator, and behind the electrical socket. - ⁠ Ceiling: Prepare and paint the ceiling, including treatment of flaking areas and mould present above the windows. I welcome quotes based on the full scope of works by outlined above. I am based in E1, London.
