The walls are plaster in front of brick - adhesive and nails should suffice Scope of work: - Pick up 3 x 5.4m MDF mouldings from local Bunnings (these will be pre-paid for by us, separate to the tasker fee) - Deliver to our home in Brunswick - Measure the room and cut mouldings to size, including mitre cuts to corners for a neat, professional finish - Install mouldings to plasterboard walls - Prefer adhesive installation, but open to advice - If screws are used, screw holes must be filled with wood putty and sanded for a clean finish - Silicone and finish mouldings so everything looks tidy and professional Room details: One room only Size: 3.6m x 3.6m. I’ve got an Actron ducted air conditioner and it’s leaking water into the ceiling when cooling is on. The leak shows up near a downlight. The indoor unit is in the roof space and I’ve already located the condensate drain coming out of the unit. The drain disappears into the structure, so I’m guessing it’s either blocked or not draining properly. The house is two storey, but roof access is easy and the unit is straightforward to get to. I’m looking for someone experienced with ducted AC systems to: • Get into the roof • Check the condensate drain • Clear it if blocked • Let me know what’s actually causing the leak Not after a full service — just someone who knows what they’re doing and can sort (or explain) the issue.
