Hi, I’m looking for a handyman to help with some cosmetic finishing work in my flat: Install a roller blind (I have the blind) Repair chipped wooden threshold/skirting edge (fill, sand, caulk and repaint neatly) Remove screws and wall plugs from walls (multiple areas) Fill all holes and damaged plaster, sand smooth Repair a small vertical wall crack Apply decorators caulk along skirting boards where needed Replace silicone sealant around the bath/shower Repaint affected wall areas for a clean, uniform finish (ideally full wall where patched) All work is cosmetic and should take a few hours. Please bring basic materials if possible (filler, caulk, silicone, tools, and paint if available). Happy to cover material costs. Thanks!

I need a bath shower screen installed above my bathtub. Photos of the product and the installation area are attached. Details: 2-panel folding bath screen (approx. 1000mm width, 1500mm height) Includes towel rail and 2 triangular shelves attached to the fixed panel The shelves will also need fixing into the wall No existing screen to remove (fresh installation) Wall construction: Tiled plasterboard wall There is likely a metal stud directly behind the wall where the screen will be fixed I have seen behind the wall in one area and there appears to be a stud very close to the fixing point Important installation notes: The main wall profile should ideally be fixed directly into the metal stud where possible I have Fischer DuoTec 10 fixings available, which can be used for the shelves and potentially additional support if needed If a better fixing method is recommended (e.g. specific screws for metal stud), I’m happy to proceed with that, but please bring suitable fixings as I don’t have them Tools & preparation: Please bring appropriate tools, including: tile drill bits (for clean drilling through tiles) suitable fixings for metal stud a stud detector / wall scanner to confirm stud location before drilling Installation expectations: Screen must be installed level, secure and properly aligned Clean drilling (tiles must not crack) Proper sealing with silicone along the wall and bath edge Ensure the folding panel operates smoothly without strain Additional note: I will be at home and can assist with lifting/holding if needed

The door is not closing properly on the shower. It is a glass door attached with metal hinges. If you lift the door you can close it, but it is quite difficult to do and we are worried about getting stuck in the shower.
