I have a double detached garage which has a ceiling void with storage above in the eaves. I want this ceiling to be insulated to make the garage area warmer, and then plasterboarded and painted. The total ceiling size is approx 6.5m by 6.5m, broken into 4 sections (with a post in the middle - see pics). The job will entail the following; 1. Insulate and board ceiling, then paint 2. One section of the ceiling (approx 3.2m x 3.2m) to be raised about 60 cm before insulating/boarding. This is to give more height for gym equipment. 3. Lighting to be put in, maybe just downlights 4. The garage is brick built and the walls between the internal woodframe have black boarding on them. Would like these to be repainted. Colour TBC. 5. Some walls I may buy some slat wooden panels so these to be cut to size and fitted. 6. Gym flooring - I am ordering rubber gym floor mat tiles. Ideally the same contractor to lay and fit these for me (just laid on top of the existing floor is fine).

Install pull-down TV wall mount (fireplace setup) Hi — looking for an experienced installer to mount a 55” TV above a fireplace using a pull-down wall mount (Equip 650326). Details: - Location: chimney breast (solid brick) - TV: 55” Hisense (~15kg) - Mount: pull-down / gas-assisted (already purchased) - Wall type: believed to be solid masonry (chimney breast) - No existing bracket — fresh install Scope: - Securely install mount into brick (not plaster/mortar) - Ensure perfectly level and centred - Attach TV to mount - Adjust spring tension correctly so TV moves smoothly - Advise on and allow space for cable routing (no chasing required) Please confirm: - Experience with pull-down / fireplace mounts - That you will bring appropriate masonry fixings/anchors - Tools included (masonry drill, level, etc.) Flexible on timing over next week. Photos of wall/fireplace available on request.
