Supply & fit 3m timber arris rail + drip edge into uPVC gutter Description: Flat roof edge over a back addition (accessible by standard ladder from the patio/ground, approx. 2.5–3m high), easy access 3.6 meter ladder A previous worker pulled off a 3-metre section of timber arris rail (tilting fillet) and stuck Flashband over it. Rainwater is now missing or dripping behind the plastic gutter. Scope of work: Strip off the old Flashband. Supply and fix a 3m treated timber arris rail (roof fillet). Supply and dress a felt drip edge or rigid GRP drip trim over the rail, kicking into the existing uPVC gutter. Seal the joint to the existing roof felt so it is watertight. Materials & Tools: Tasker to bring their own ladder and fixings/sealant. Tasker to supply materials (standard treated arris rail/fillet and GRP/felt drip trim from Wickes/Travis Perkins). Happy for you to include materials in your offer or supply receipts for reimbursement on top. Straightforward 1–2 hour job for a competent carpenter or handyman. Strictly no large roofing contractors, full roof relining quotes, or lead flashing upsells.

I’m looking for an experienced handyman to complete the following installation jobs: • Install a 350cm IKEA VIDGA curtain track inside a high-up curtain pelmet. The pelmet is approx. 340cm wide and 312cm high. I have purchased 3 x IKEA VIDGA single track sets. The tracks will need to be measured, cut to the required length, joined together and securely installed inside the pelmet. Once installed, the curtain also needs to be put onto the track. • Put lampshades on 2 high-up ceiling lights • Install 3 x 80cm shelves in the kitchen above the sink • Install a TV bracket onto the wall and securely mount the TV onto the bracket Please only apply if you have experience with these types of installations and are comfortable working at height. A suitable tall step ladder will be required for the curtain track and high-up lights. Please bring the appropriate tools and fixings needed to securely install the items.

I’m looking for a handyman experienced with DIY/roofing to finish the roof of an already mostly-built wooden gazebo in my garden. The gazebo is approximately 3m x 3m and around 2.5m high. The main frame and roof structure are already built, but the gazebo was left unfinished while we were away for around a year. Work required: * Re-secure/re-nail any roof panels/boards that have become loose or disconnected, making sure the roof is properly secured together. * Fit the roofing membrane/felt underlay over the roof. * Install the roof shingles over the membrane to finish the roof. * Make sure everything is properly secured and the roof is left complete and tidy. * There are also four small wooden connection/support pieces near the bottom of the gazebo pillars that need to be reattached/secured. These are small pieces and should simply need to be positioned correctly and nailed back into place. Materials: All required materials are already provided, including the roof pieces/panels, membrane, shingles, nails and other necessary fittings. You will need to bring your own tools and ladder(s) suitable for working at approximately 2.5m height. You are welcome to bring another person to help you if required, particularly because of the size and height of the gazebo. Payment: £225 total for completion of the job. Payment will be made 100% upon satisfactory completion of the agreed work. Ideally looking for someone who can complete this efficiently and leave the gazebo roof fully finished and secure.
