Hi! I'm hoping to find someone to: - Fix a bedroom door hinge: the door frame is somewhat crumbling, causing the hinge to come loose and the door to drag on the carpet (see photos). - Remove and dispose of an old satellite dish (unused) including cabling from the ground floor level of the house (see photos). Hi, I need help moving a king size headboard that doesn’t fit up my narrow attic staircase. The back panel is thin wood and can be removed. The headboard may need a simple cut from the back, then to be carried upstairs and securely reassembled. The front must remain neat and undamaged. A simple finish at the back is fine. Hi, I need a qualified electrician for two small jobs at my home. Happy for you to supply all materials and parts, please include that in your quote. JOB 1: NEW LIGHT IN LOFT The loft is fully boarded with a hatch and drop-down ladder, so access is easy. There is currently no power or wiring in the loft at all, so a new supply will need to be run (most likely spurred from a nearby first-floor lighting circuit, but happy for you to advise on the best source). I just need one simple ceiling light (standard LED batten or bulkhead is fine) with a switch. A switch by the hatch or a pull cord inside the loft both work, whichever is cleaner. JOB 2: NEW EXHAUST FAN IN BATHROOM There is currently no fan in the bathroom, just an existing ceiling light. The bathroom is on an external wall, so the fan should vent straight out through the side wall (no long ducting runs or roof work needed). Standard extractor fan is fine. Wiring can come off the existing light circuit so it runs with the light, or with a short overrun timer, whichever is standard practice. Please include making good any holes and a tidy silicone finish around the external vent/grille. WHAT I NEED FROM YOU • Fully qualified and insured, Part P registered preferred • Quote all-in: labour, materials, parts, testing and any certificate • Rough time on site and earliest availability • Minor-works electrical certificate on completion Happy to share photos of the loft hatch, bathroom and external wall before you quote, just message me. Looking for someone to cut and remove overhanging tree branches coming into my garden in Hounslow. The branches are quite high (around the height of a house / above fence level) and are coming from a neighbour’s tree, extending over my fence and towards the house. The job is to safely trim them back without damaging the fence or property. Access to the garden is straightforward. Please bring your own tools (ladder or proper equipment) and include waste removal in your offer. Experience with tree cutting and working at height is important. Please confirm your experience in similar jobs when making an offer. Flexible on timing but would like this done soon.
