Looking for an experienced bathroom installer or glass specialist to help source and install a narrow shower screen. The screen will be approx. 25–30 cm wide and run floor to ceiling. One side fixes to a wall that has a tile-to-wall transition partway up (approx. 1.5 cm step), so this is not a completely flat surface. We need someone who can advise on the best solution, help us choose and order the correct materials, and then complete a clean, professional installation. Important: please explain how you would handle the tile step (for example U-channel, trim solution, or custom-cut glass). We want a clean, intentional finish, not something that looks patched or filled. This task is for labour only. We will pay separately for materials, but would like you to recommend what to purchase and either provide a receipt or invoice for reimbursement. Requirements: proven experience installing shower screens or bathroom glass, confidence working with uneven surfaces, and ability to deliver a high-quality finish. Looking for someone reliable who can fully complete the job (including advice and installation), not partial work. Please clarify if you have done similar work before.

I'm looking for someone to supply and fit a simple, budget-friendly door for the entrance to my cellar/vault at my lower ground floor flat in W14. The existing door frame is rotten and will need to be removed and replaced as part of the job. The door doesn't need to be decorative – just a basic, solid, weather-resistant door that can be securely closed and locked. A standard ledged-and-braced timber door (or similar) would be ideal if suitable. The job includes: - Supplying a new door and replacement frame. - Removing and disposing of the existing rotten door frame. - Fitting the new door and frame so it opens and closes properly. - Installing basic hinges and a lock/latch. - Installing a vent - Painting the frame and door if needed. - Tidying up after the work. I've included photos of the existing opening, as well as a photo of one of the other vault doors in the building to show the type of simple finish I'm looking for. Please include the cost of both labour and materials in your quote, and let me know what type of door you would install.

I need an experienced door technician or locksmith to repair a commercial frameless glass entrance door. The door is fitted with a GEZE floor spring and has stopped closing slowly. Instead, it slams shut. I believe the hydraulic oil has leaked from the floor spring, so it may need repairing, adjusting, or replacing. Job details: * Commercial frameless glass door * GEZE floor spring closer * Door slams shut instead of slow closing * Floor spring cover has already been removed for inspection * Please inspect, diagnose, and either repair or replace the floor spring if required * If replacement parts are needed, please let me know before carrying out the work (or include the part if you have it) Please quote for: * Labour only (if I supply the part) * Labour + replacement floor spring (if you can supply it) Please only apply if you have experience working with frameless glass doors and GEZE floor springs, as the door is heavy and needs to be aligned correctly after the repair.
