Hi, I need a professional assessment and itemised quote for damage to a bedroom wall following a TV wall-mount installation. The TV and bracket subsequently fell from the wall. I need the quote for a property-damage claim, so it needs to include the diagnosis/root cause, recommended repair, labour and materials separately, with me listed as the billable party and on company letterhead. I don’t want the repair carried out yet, just the assessment and quote.

Handyman needed for a furnished studio near Russell Square. Main work: - Measure, supply and fit frosted privacy film to the lower part of the studio window only; leave the upper glazing clear. Agree a straight, level coverage line with the landlord before fitting. The finish must be neat and bubble-free, without blocking trickle vents or interfering with the frame or blind. - Secure the electric blind battery pack with self-adhesive Velcro while keeping charging access. - Replace a B22 LED bulb (9W, 806 lm, 4000K), inspect the shade and holder, and refit the shade securely. Stop and report if the holder or wiring needs a qualified electrician. - Inspect and renew defective shower and basin silicone; check peeling paint beside the shower for moisture or failed seals, then make good and repaint after drying. - Cap a redundant hole inside the mirrored bathroom cabinet if appropriate. - Inspect worn black coating on the shower controls, basin tap and towel rail, and quote a durable repair or replacement. - Make good and touch up marked or chipped kitchen and studio walls and skirting, including paint pulled away near the blind. - Check and locally restore the marked wooden windowsill if dry; report any ongoing moisture. Please include labour and routine consumables in your offer, itemise any specialist parts or return visit, and bring suitable tools. Please send before and after photos. A detailed defect brief and photos can be shared with the assigned Tasker.

Bathroom refresh – remove paint from tiles, reseal and repaint Small bathroom in a property guardianship. I am looking for a practical, hygienic refresh rather than a full renovation. The existing bathroom tiles appear to be blue underneath and have previously been painted white. The paint is now peeling in several areas. Preferred work: * Carefully remove the existing paint from the bathroom tiles where possible, with the aim of restoring and keeping the original blue tiles * Please test a small area first before proceeding with the full tile area * Clean the tiles thoroughly once the paint has been removed * Remove and replace deteriorated/stained silicone around the bath/basin with white mould-resistant sanitary silicone * Prepare and repaint the peeling bathroom vanity/shelf * Repaint/touch up the bathroom walls in a light neutral colour to complement the blue tiles * Leave the bathroom clean and tidy afterwards I do not want the tiles repainted unless we discuss and agree this first. The damaged window sill and larger wall crack are being reported separately to the property management company. Please quote labour separately from materials, confirm how long you expect the work to take, and explain how you would remove the existing tile paint without damaging the tiles.

I need a small ceiling repair completed at an office. There is currently an open access hole in the plasterboard ceiling, as shown in the attached photo. Ceiling opening is approximately 450 mm × 450 mm. I would like: * A metal access hatch/panel supplied and installed over the existing opening. * The hatch must be hinged/openable and closable, with a simple secure latch. * Ideally a neat, flush-fitting white metal access panel suitable for a commercial office ceiling. * Any minor making-good around the opening required for the hatch installation. * The existing water staining/discolouration around the opening and surrounding ceiling to be prepared and repainted. * Stained areas should ideally be treated with a stain-blocking primer first so the marks do not come back through the new paint. * Ceiling paint to be matched as closely as reasonably possible to the existing white finish. * All materials, labour and clean-up included. The source of the previous water staining is being dealt with separately - this task is for the access hatch installation and cosmetic ceiling repair/painting only. Please provide your best fixed price including materials. I am looking for a cost-effective solution rather than anything bespoke or decorative. If possible, please also state: 1. Your total price. 2. Whether the metal hatch is included. 3. When you can complete the work. 4. Approximately how long the job will take. Photos attached.
