Urgent: Garage Ceiling Replacement (Collapse Repair) - Berwick Location: Berwick, VIC 3806 Timing: As soon as possible Description: We urgently require a qualified and experienced plasterer to repair a partially collapsed garage ceiling. This job involves full replacement of the damaged section, finishing, and site cleanup. Current Condition: •⁠ ⁠A section of the plasterboard ceiling has already fallen. •⁠ ⁠The garage features brick walls, and the ceiling structure is standard timber rafters/joists. Scope of Work Required: 1.⁠ ⁠Remove and dispose of damaged/sagging plasterboard sheets and the fallen debris. 2.⁠ ⁠Supply and install new 10mm ceiling plasterboard (Gyprock) to the affected garage ceiling area. 3.⁠ ⁠Tape and set all joints and screw holes (ready for painting). Finish the edges where the ceiling meets the brick walls 4.⁠ ⁠Paint the repaired ceiling area to ensure consistency with the existing surface (or the entire ceiling if necessary for a uniform look - please specify options in the quote). 5.⁠ ⁠Remove all rubbish and trade waste from the site. We have built an outdoor barbecue/kitchen area out of brick on our veranda. Although most will eventually be stone clad , i’m wanting it rendered first. My estimate is that it is about 14 square metres. (ignore the ticks and crosses on the pics. These show what areas will ultimately be stone clad and which will remain exposed render). Not sure on the colour but it would be something grey/ cream/beige. Would like price to include both the render and the labour. I don’t know if this helps, but we have heaps of yellow/brickies sand available. Would need to be careful of our timber decking. (We do have a roll of cardboard sheet if this helps). Would like done as soon as possible.
