Hi, I’m looking for someone who can fit carpet on my stairs today, if available. There are 11 steps, plus 3 larger landings 2 at the top and 1 at the bottom. I already have carpet adhesive spray, so there’s no need to provide glue. I also don’t need underlay or grippers, although staples would be ideal if you have them. I also need help fitting 5 carpet cover trims, so a power drill would be needed for this part. Please let me know if you’re available today and your price. Thank you!

I need an experienced carpet fitter to lay carpet across two bedrooms, a landing, and a 16 step staircase (10 straight steps, 6 winder/corner steps). Roughly 28 to 30m² total. Carpet, underlay, and gripper rods are all being supplied by me. I just need the fitting done professionally, including fitting a carpet to laminate transition strip (door bar) at the bottom of the stairs where the carpet meets laminate flooring downstairs. Carpet and underlay are on order and should arrive in the next few weeks, so ideally looking for someone available to fit around then.

Small Bedroom – Repaint Walls & Skirting Touch-Ups I’m looking for an experienced painter/decorator to repaint a small bedroom in my flat in London. The room is approximately 150 sq ft and is currently painted in Dulux Natural Hessian. I would like the walls repainted in Dulux Egyptian Cotton. Work required * Prepare and repaint the bedroom walls in Dulux Egyptian Cotton * Minor touch-ups to the existing skirting boards in Dulux Timeless * Protect carpet and furniture (which are both new) and surrounding areas properly during the work * Leave the room clean and tidy on completion I’m looking for someone with good attention to detail who will take care with preparation, cutting-in and the final finish. Please provide your price, availability and examples/reviews of similar interior painting work. Budget: around £325, although I’m happy to consider a reasonable quote from the right person.

Hi, I’m looking for a quote for flooring work at my new flat in E15 2QB. I’m hoping to complete the purchase this Friday and would like the work done as soon as possible afterwards. I’d like: * Existing carpet removed from the bedroom and living/reception area * Existing wood/laminate flooring removed from the hallway * New light natural oak / sand wood-effect laminate throughout the bedroom, living area and hallway, ideally with good-quality acoustic underlay * Kitchen and bathroom flooring to remain exactly as they are * Existing wardrobe/frame structure in the bedroom removed before laying the new flooring * Existing flooring/carpet and waste removed and disposed of * All necessary thresholds/finishing included The whole flat is approximately 40.98 m², but the kitchen and bathroom are excluded from the work.
