I have a semi detached house, with carpet on my flight of stairs. at the top of the stairs, a small part of the carpet has come lose from the grip that holds it in place. It would take a carpet fitter , with the correct tools to re-fit the carpet correctly . Not a big job.. just one that is suited to a carpet fitter.

Following a water leak from upstairs, two circuits (bathroom lighting and fire alarm) were isolated by an electrician for safety. The leak has since been repaired and the area is dry. 1. Detach the bookcase from the wall (picture of the bookcase attached) 2. ⁠put a large mirror over the fireplace back where it used to be (no drilling required, just putting it back on the wall.
