I have to finish to build my shed and move one of the wall, almost done, and replace the base. Then moving back the walls and connect them. A couple of hours top. I'm not posting pictures because it doesn't make any sense. I need someone with me to lift a wooden wall by 20 cm, then I'll tide up the base and then we'll move the wooden wall on its place, just few centimetres away from its actual place. Movinge the others wall close to the one placed and that's it. I'll finish the job by myself. Thanks

Looking for an experienced builder/decorator or small team to renovate an approximately 25m² living room in Sutton. Work includes: Install decorative wall moulding above existing dado rail, creating 3 panels with a wider centre panel ( like the picture) Prepare and install supplied scenic wallpaper/mural inside the panels Full room preparation and painting, including walls, ceiling, skirting, dado, architraves and mouldings Replace 3 existing spotlights with adjustable warm-white spots aimed at the feature wall Replace existing chandelier with supplied new light, retaining the decorative ceiling rose Replace 2 internal single doors, including fitting/adjustments and making good Cover the right-hand window/recess and create attractive fitted open shelving in its place Plaster/make good around fireplace/TV area following separate specialist installation Protect existing oak flooring throughout Fireplace and TV/audio installation are being handled separately - but there may be the need to liaise with them and provide an electrical socket. Please provide price, availability, estimated duration and examples of similar work. High-quality finishing and carpentry are important.

I’m looking for a qualified/experienced electrician to carry out several small jobs in my one-bedroom flat in Bow. Lighting: Remove and replace 4 existing ceiling light fittings (living room, dining/office area, hallway and bedroom). I will supply all replacement fittings/bulbs. - Living room: replacement of a flush mount with a pendant fitting and lightweight paper shade. - Dining/office: replace an identical flush mount and install pendant fitting and add a small ceiling hook/fixing so the flex can run from the existing electrical point and hang centrally over the dining table. The fitting has adjustable fabric flex. - Hallway: replace existing flush fitting with pendant fitting with exposed bulb. - Bedroom: replace existing pendant fitting with a new pendant fitting with approx. 2m cable. I’d like to retain as much cable length as possible for potentially repositioning the hanging point later. Smoke alarm: - Replace what appears to be an old mains-powered smoke alarm with battery backup with a new mains-powered alarm that I will supply. - There is also a second, empty alarm mounting plate nearby. I’d like this inspected to establish whether it has wiring / was part of an interconnected system. If it is confirmed to be redundant, I’d like the plate removed and any wiring safely dealt with. Please do not disconnect anything if it appears to form part of the building’s communal fire-alarm system. The flat is on the second floor. I am attaching photos of all the existing fittings and can provide links/photos of the replacements in advance. Looking for someone appropriately qualified for both mains lighting and smoke-alarm work, who can test everything after installation. Please let me know your hourly rate or total estimate, and approximately how long you expect the work to take.
