I am moving into my new flat in a few weeks and would like to get a handyman/woman in for the day to do as many of the tasks that can be completed in this time. Things that need doing include: - putting together flat pack Ikea wardrobe (200cm) - replacing some outside pipe work and guttering - attaching wood mantle to brick fireplace - attaching tongue and groove wall panels to one wall - attaching 2 floating shelves to wall - attaching 2x mirrors to wall - fixing curtain rails to bay window, small bedroom window and bifold doors - secure fly above extractor fan - tighten front door lock When I move in I will provide an updated list in order of priority, along with photos. Please let me know what on this list you would be able to help with, estimated time required and quote. Happy for you to wait until I have updated the details to provide more accurate estimates. I will reply to messages once I have more information to hand after I move in!

Bathroom pull cord ▸ Test the bypass on the bathroom pull cord. ▸ If the bypass works, keep the existing pull cord in place. ▸ If it does not work, replace it with a standard (non-smart) pull cord. Smart lock ▸ Install the smart lock at the entrance. ▸ Integrate the smart lock with the smart lock gateway. ▸ Confirm the lock reports correctly and is controllable through the gateway and Dashboard before leaving site. Sensors & scene switche Install the presence sensors in their designated locations. ▸ Install the additional scene switches as required. ▸ Verify each device pairs and reports before sign-off One socket has come away from the wall because the fixing screws were too short. ▸ Refit it using longer screws. ▸ The attending technician must speak to Avnesh, he knows the exact screw length required for the kitchen. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/joiner or media wall specialist to build a high-quality, modern media wall in my living room. Location: Beckenham, Kent Scope of work * Build a bespoke chimney breast/media wall against an existing load-bearing wall. * Overall wall width: 2,740 mm (with a chimney breast to be installed at either 1,8m or 2,3m). * Install my supplied electric fireplace. * Prepare for TV installation. * Conceal all cables, including power and TV connections. * Install IKEA LED strip lighting * Plaster and prepare the media wall ready for painting. Design I’m aiming for a clean, contemporary, premium look with: * A slim chimney breast. * No shelves or cupboards. * Minimalist design with crisp edges. * Hidden cable management. * A high-end finish suitable for a modern home. The bottom of the fireplace needs to be installed approximately 500 mm above the finished floor. What I’m looking for Please only apply if you have experience building bespoke media walls. All materials have already been purchased – we just need someone with the skills and tools to complete the installation to a high standard.
