I purchased the Vigda curtain tracks from IKEA when I moved into my home. They were originally installed on the ceiling, but since they didn’t hit any timbers, the curtains and tracks have now fallen down. I spoke with someone at Bunnings who suggested reinstalling them on the wall instead, using L-shaped brackets to hang the sheers — that way, they’ll be secured into the studs. I don’t have the tools or skills to get it done myself. Looking for someone handy to help reinstall them properly!

The knob of our electric Technika cooktop broke and had come completely loose. The internal rod of the knob has broken in half, one part is still stuck in the under layer of the cooktop. I believe this will require the cooktop cover to be removed to extract this broken rod. I believe the same knob can be used if a replacement rod can be found, as there was no issue with the knob itself. However, if that is not possible to reuse the knob, then a replacement part may be required.

I’m looking for someone to install electric curtain tracks, motors and curtains in my apartment. • Areas: 2 bedrooms + 1 living room • Total: 5–6 curtain sets (each with track, motor and curtain) • Tasks include: • Mounting the curtain tracks to the wall/ceiling • Installing and securing the motors • Wiring the motors safely to power • Hanging and adjusting the curtains so they open/close smoothly Because the motors require electrical wiring, you must be a licensed electrician (and able to provide proof/certification). I require a few handyman jobs done - these include - Attach metal plate covering this latch so no one can use pliers to open or install an additional garage lock. -Replace t lock it has no key -Attach gas strut on screen door so it closes -Install a dead lock on garage door -Fix hinge so screen door secures this is a metal frame, install clothes line either retractable on brick with a stand on opposite edge or the long fold down ones with stand -Fix leaky outdoor tap -Attach middle bracket to curtain rod as it is sagging in the middle. I will supply clothesline and attachments, deadlock, t lock, gas strut. You will need to supply materials for leaky tap, metal plate and curtain bracket (happy to buy these if I know what to get) -Also adding to quote to fix 10 small holes in ceiling. Can supply paint
