Hello, I have adjusted the job slightly and revised the budget to £120 for labour only. Previous bidders are very welcome to update their offers based on this full scope! uPVC Window Repair (Hinges, Locking Mechanism & Seal) Looking for a local window specialist or experienced handyman to repair a single uPVC window that is jammed and won’t close properly. The Full Scope of Work: Mechanism & Handle: The handle is jammed/not working. It likely needs a new internal espag locking mechanism/rod or full realignment. Hinges: The window has dropped out of alignment and will likely require a new pair of uPVC friction stay hinges. Seal: The rubber gasket seal has come loose and needs replacing as very old and worn. Budget Update: I have adjusted the budget to £120 (labour only) to better reflect a comprehensive repair and mechanism swap, as my initial post was a bit too high. Parts: I will pay for the exact cost of the required parts (new hinges, locking rod, or handle) on top of this labour budget upon viewing a store receipt. Original post: A uPVC window won’t close and is jammed open. The handle doesn’t turn properly either. Probably needs new seal and maybe hinge, maybe lock. Really needs someone who understands these kinds of windows and someone to assess the problem before working out replacement parts etc

We have two aluminium curtain tracks (1 x 120cm, 1 x 240cm) which we would like fitting for net curtains. The tracks will be going on the stud wall (vertical surface) underneath our existing curtain pole but above the window opening. We have a small stepladder or step stool for you to access more easily. All instructions included. We can provide wall fixings and a drill if needed. We also have a laser leveller but not a tripod to mount it on.
