I'm building an open-source, privacy-first home server framework — a life management layer (shopping, health, garden, finance) that sits above device control. Everything runs locally, no cloud. I want to connect it to Home Assistant via the REST and WebSocket APIs. HA handles the physical world (lights, sensors, voice), my system handles the thinking. Both local, both talk over the LAN. This is a 2-day proof of concept at my house in Kingston: - Set up HA OS on an Intel N100 mini PC (I'll source hardware) - Get a few Zigbee devices working — couple of bulbs, a sensor or two - Configure local voice: Whisper STT + Piper TTS, one Voice PE satellite - Enable the HA REST/WebSocket API with a long-lived token - Test bidirectional API calls between HA and a Flask app on the LAN - Document what we built What I'm really looking for: more than a one-off job. I want someone local who knows HA deeply and is interested in the bigger picture — where Home Assistant ends and sovereign personal AI begins. The project is open source (EUPL), local-first, and the ambition goes well beyond smart lighting. I'm a software engineer, so no need to explain APIs. But I haven't worked with HA hands-on and I'd rather learn from someone who has. Ideal person: runs HA at home, has opinions about where it's going, finds extending it into life management genuinely interesting. £500 for 2 days. Hi I’m looking for a favour - I have built an iOS app (I don’t know what I’m doing but am happy with where it’s at and am amazed I have got this far). I also have a developer account with Apple, I just need help getting the app off my laptop and on to the AppStore. It’s this hurdle I am stuck at and am hoping some kind sole will help me. I’m in the infancy of opening an agency for App development and hope that you could become a good contact for future paid work when the agency is in full swing. Thanks!

I changed some settings of my WiFi and disconnected the Sonos system and Google nest. Additionally, the Sonos system is very old and struggling for compatibility with the app. I need someone who has experience with Sonos to both reconnect it to the WiFi and also help with downgrading the system to make the app functional. With Google nest, the cameras were disconnected with the internet change, and so looking to similarly reconnect them.
