I need to retrieve a portion of my WhatsApp history that was accidentally deleted on my Samsung A30 (Android 11). Chat backups were enabled and I still have full access to the Google account that holds the Drive backups, but I’m unsure whether those copies include the missing messages. The job involves: • Checking any existing Google Drive and local msgstore.db.crypt12 files to see if the deleted segment still exists. • If necessary, using safe Android forensic or data-recovery techniques (ADB, logical extraction, Dr.Fone/iMyFone/UltData, etc.) to uncover older or partial backups still resident on the device. • Restoring or exporting the recovered conversation in a readable format (.txt, .html, or native WhatsApp restore). Acceptance criteria: 1. Deleted chat messages are recovered and viewable. 2. A brief outline of the steps taken is supplied so I understand what was done and can replicate the restore if I ever need to. Please keep the device intact—no factory resets—and avoid any method that could jeopardize other data on the phone.
