We moved into a rental property on April 30th, expecting it to be clean and ready to enjoy it. Unfortunately, the carpets in the bedrooms had a strong smell, and there was also a bad odour coming from the kitchen and toilet drains. We had the carpets steam cleaned the next day, but the smell is still there. The real estate agents say they can’t smell anything, but both we and the removalist could clearly notice it. A previous carpet cleaner mentioned the carpet is old and may have been damaged from not drying properly. We’d like you to inspect the carpet in two bedrooms and give us your honest, professional opinion. We’re not asking you to take sides — just to assess the condition and let us know if the smell could be from damage, age, or something else. We will need a short letter with your findings to send to the real estate agency. The visit won’t take more than 20 minutes plus the 15 minutes riding a letter or email. You need to have register business as professional cleaning. Thank you

We’ve just had fancy new doubled glazed windows and doors installed and need an experienced painter to paint the new architraves. Architraves have been primed. Note - holes and joins have been filled and sanded, so it just needs to be painted. Pics show the work required - two sliding doors and one picture window. Paint will be reimbursed separately- this is just for labour and equipment. Edges will need to be masked carefully and it’s essential no paint gets on the new frames or carpet. This needs to be a perfect job with attention to detail.
