The garden needs a general clean-up, including clearing the fallen leaves from the tree and removing any dead flowers and plants. If possible, we’d also like to explore planting some new flowers or plants to freshen up the space. At the back of the garden, we have artificial grass, so we’d mainly like to explore options for adding plants and flowers along the side fence. The aim is to make the space feel more welcoming and calm, while keeping it relatively low-maintenance.

Looking for an experienced gardener/landscaper to tidy and improve a small front garden. I’m looking to create a neat, low-maintenance planted border around the existing lawn, similar to the reference image I can provide. The job would involve: * Remove existing weeds, including roots where possible * Mark out and create a new curved planting border * Remove the necessary sections of turf * Dig/prepare the existing soil * Add compost/soil improver * Supply/install neat black garden edging between the lawn and planting area * Plant approximately 10–12 shrubs/plants, including hydrangeas, lavender, pittosporum, hebes and ornamental grasses * Plant one small feature tree * Finish the entire planted area with bark mulch * Leave the lawn and surrounding area clean and tidy * Remove/dispose of weeds, turf and garden waste I will purchase and provide the plants. Happy to discuss whether I provide the compost, edging and bark or you supply these. There are currently some weeds in the area, so these need to be properly removed rather than simply covered over.
