I need an experienced Tasker to repair water-damaged laminate flooring caused by a washing machine leak. Issue: Approximately 20 swollen/buckled planks plus the area around the bottom/perimeter of the kitchen island. The click-lock laminate has raised edges and height differences, mainly along the kitchen back wall facing the living room and under/around the island base. I have already stopped the leak, removed standing water, and dried the area. Work required: Carefully remove baseboards along the kitchen wall. Lift and replace the ~20 damaged planks, starting from the wall edge. Inspect subfloor and ensure it's dry. Carefully cut and fit new planks around the kitchen island base (without fully moving the heavy island if possible). Reinstall baseboards neatly and leave proper expansion gaps. You can supply materials. Please quote your total price (labour + any materials). Experience with laminate water damage repairs is preferred. Flexible timing – ideally within the next 1-2 weeks.
