Top Fence Repair related questions
Repairing your fence is generally quicker and more affordable than replacing the entire fencing. If you are dealing with minor issues like rot or warped panels, repairs should already suffice. But if the damage affects around 20% of the panels, you may find greater benefit from just purchasing and installing a replacement fence. Feel free to consult your Tasker for expert advice on how to proceed.
When your fence posts start to crumble due to termite damage or show signs of rotting, you should look into replacing your fencing. A good rule of thumb to follow is if 30% or more of the post is compromised, then it’s high time to book fence repair near you.
Most repairs can be completed within one to three days, but this usually depends on the scope of the project as well as the availability and skill level of the Tasker you hired. At most, an extensive project should not take more than a couple of weeks. Discuss timelines with your Tasker to make sure you’re on the same page even before the job starts. Be extra wary of fencing contractors over-extending a task on purpose!
Yes, you can expect most Taskers to readily bring all necessary tools. These include electric drills, shovels, pliers, and even a wheelbarrow — no need to worry about the fence repair essentials!
As for fence post brackets and new panels, you can either purchase them yourself or request your Tasker to source them on your behalf for an extra fee or reimbursement. Make sure to communicate this in advance to avoid delays with fence repairs near you.
A fence can stand strong for 15 to 20 years — that is, if it is properly installed and maintained. While regular upkeep helps prolong the life of your fences, the materials used and potential damaging factors should also be taken into account.
For example, wooden fences typically last around 10 to 12 years if not put under extreme weather and wood-damaging elements. More durable options like metal panel fencing can impressively endure for 60 years or more.
Absolutely! Clear out old panels to make way for a fresh installation by booking Taskers to help you dismantle and dispose of old fencing that’s damaged beyond repair. Leave the heavy lifting to the pros!

What do fence repair services include?
Tackling fence repairs varies based on the type of damage and the materials involved, which is why it’s important to work with seasoned experts. Unlike most fencing companies that specialise in particular repair services, many Taskers are generalists who are equipped to help revitalise your humble abode however they can.Â
Whether you're struggling with sagging panels ruining your garden view or rotten fence posts posing a safety hazard, you can count on them to deliver. Here's what you can expect:
Wooden fence post repair
Frequent exposure to the sun, rainy weather and pests often lead to rotting or weakened wooden posts. Hiring experienced Taskers can help you address these issues in a jiff. Fence post repair will start by having them secure weak timber posts with spikes, brackets, or concrete footings. One failing post can jeopardise the entire structure, so if you prefer to have rotten posts replaced, this is also certainly an alternative Taskers can offer.
Fence panel repair
When panels become cracked, loose, or discoloured, you can count on simple repairs to restore the look of your fencing and the privacy and security it offers. Book fence repairs near you to have experts remove broken panels and install new ones, or repair slatted fence panels. If your fence requires a fresh coat of paint, you can also work with a Tasker to get this done quickly.
Once your fence is fully repaired, why not consider setting up a cosy garden deck to give your property a much-needed lift?
Chain-link fence repair
There are many things that can damage your chain-link fences — pets, fallen trees, or even just general wear. Luckily, these can be swiftly addressed through fence repairs near you. Taskers are equipped to cut out and replace broken sections of a chain-link fence, secure loose areas, or even add tent stakes to reinforce the bottom of your fence.Â
And since fallen trees and other garden waste can be a safety hazard to keep at home, make sure to book a Tasker to help you with proper removal.
Concrete fence repair
If you seek a more cost-effective alternative to replacing your fences altogether, consider getting concrete fence repairs instead. Concrete fence posts often outlast other types, though they remain prone to developing cracks or water damage over time.Â
To help you maintain your new fencing, book fence repair near you to regularly check your posts for cracks or have them stabilised or repaired with epoxy as needed. Taskers can also replace certain damaged sections to keep your fence sturdy for more years to come.

Following up on my previous message, I’d like to provide more details about the jobs: 1. Garden Wall & Fence (Security Focus) The garden wall faces the street, so I’d like to increase the height slightly for better security. I’m not particular about the materials used—whatever works best. Some parts of the topper have come off. Where there are existing plants/wood, I’m happy for you to tie them together or reinforce them to act as a barrier. I specifically need the area above the left-hand door and the sections where the topper is completely missing to be strengthened in some way. I want to minimise the cost if its possible. 2. Wardrobe/Chest of Drawers Regarding the warped unit, if you feel it’s not worth repairing, I have another wardrobe in a different room I can use instead. In that case, could you help me move the other wardrobe to the room and break down the old one into smaller pieces so I can dispose of it easily? Could you let me know if this is something you can help with? I'm happy to follow your professional advice on the best approach. Best regards,
