We are looking for an experienced fencing contractor to carry out fencing and garden clearance work at our property in Upminster. The job involves: * Removing and relocating approximately 12¼ existing heavy-duty vertical feather-edge fence panels currently running from the house to the outbuildings. The fence line needs to be moved approximately 1 metre from its current position. * Supplying and installing approximately 10 additional 6ft x 5ft heavy-duty vertical feather-edge fence panels from the outbuildings to the end of the garden. * The additional fence panels should preferably be used but in good, solid condition, as we would like them to match the appearance, age and character of the existing fencing as closely as possible. * Supplying and installing the necessary concrete fence posts and concrete gravel boards where required. * Cutting back and clearing tall overgrown stinging nettles, weeds and other vegetation along the proposed fence line (some growth is approximately head height). Please provide: * A quote for labour and materials. * Details of the fencing you can supply. * Your earliest availability. * Details of any relevant fencing experience. * An invoice is required for this job. I’m looking to replace my existing back gate at my property in Wandsworth. The aim is to create a secure, good-quality entrance that functions almost like a private entrance to the property, rather than just a basic garden gate. I’m open to the material and design — timber, composite, aluminium or another suitable option — but the finished gate should: - Look attractive and complement the property - Feel substantial and well-finished - Provide good privacy and security - Have a good-quality lock/latching system - Be durable and suitable for regular daily use - Include any necessary replacement/repair of the frame, posts or hinges - Be properly fitted and finished rather than a basic like-for-like replacement I’m open to suggestions from someone experienced in gates and external entrances, particularly if you can recommend a design that gives it a more premium/private-entrance feel. Budget: £900–£1,200, depending on the final design/materials. I’m willing to go up to £1,350 for a genuinely bespoke/high-quality solution if justified. Timing: As soon as practical. I’d ideally like someone to assess the existing gate/opening and advise on the best solution before proceeding.

A garden gate was broken so removed, which has left out garden open to the elements. My son was going to install it, but he's been in hospital for 6 weeks with an infection etc. Gate is wooden and been assembled, and lumbar has been bought and needs to be cut down for the supports.
