Hello, Our smoke alarms are 5 years old and are not working properly. Even with new batteries we had to remove one as it kept all of them beeping even with no smoke. Now one of them keeps beeping intermittently. We need someone to review them. There are 3 in the flat. Thanks, Renata

There is an existing, mains connected, fire alarm system (kidde slick). I've tried to buy compatible fire alarm units but can't seem to find one and it might be easier to replace the base with the one I bought (kidde KF20). Seems like a simple, quick job

Smoke alarm base has come loose from plasterboard ceiling. Wiring is already in place and connected — no electrical work required. Need someone to supply/install appropriate plasterboard fixings and securely reattach the base plate. Then twist the smoke alarm unit back into place and test it’s secure.

I have three items I need an electrician to help with: 1. Replacing the extractor fan in my bathroom 2. Replacing the smoke alarm 3. Replacing the ceiling light in my bedroom and ceiling rose Photos are of the replacement items in boxes and the old/current units. I have a small ladder but a taller one might be needed for the bedroom ceiling light. The bedroom ceiling is approximately 10 feet tall.
