Find local smoke alarm installers in London

Emptying the bath last night tripped the electrics. The mains-powered smoke alarm would not switch off. There is not a separate fuse for the smoke alarm. We need to isolate the smoke alarm to prevent electric fire. Will also need a plumber to check for leaks.

remove 3 x hardwired smoke alarms and replace with X-Sense battery operated. Also repair light fixing with exposed wire.

My old smoke detector was too old and I bought a replacement but am nervous switching the electrics. I suspect it’s a straightforward job switching the casing and wiring the new one in.

We have just moved in to a property and I am looking for an electrician to do an EICR check, get a hardwired smoke alarm replaced and another removed, and attach a socker to the wall.

Check all existing smoke and heat detectors fitted in a 3 bed duplex flat are in date and working as expected providing check certificate. Plus install a missing smoke detector in the lounge, needs to conform to Tower Hamlets additional licensing HMO standards.

Remove smoke alarm Kidde MCO, it is beeping,due to low battery. Battery cannot be changed, only the whole thing. Unit is ordered and on its way but I need to silence the thing. Thanks

I need help removing the smoke alarm from the ceiling. It is very high so require a tall ladder.
