Lamp stopped working. Its likely switch issue, it started with connection issues which eventually led to complete loss of connection. I have 2 similar lamps. Both stopped working with 6 months gap. Owning these since 2020.

2 lamps for repair (1) Lamp has stopped turning on. Have checked the light bulb is ok. So likely it’s the lamps’s wiring. The switch has also broken and needs to be replaced. (2) Other lamp has two bulbs, one in the base and one in the lampshade. It used to be that you could switch on either base or top or both.
Omar helped me diagnose what’s wrong with a really complicated lamp, put in a temporary fix while we sort out the long term fix. Knowledgable polite and efficient. 🙂

The lampshade fitting is broke and no longer sits on the floor lamp. The lampshade is 14inch (top diameter), 18inch (bottom diameter) and 13inch (height) and previously sat 12inches above from bulb. Please let me know if you need any more details but I presume new fittings will need to be installed.
