smoke alarm beeping due to need in battery changes (after 2pm)

My smoke alarm sometimes goes off randomly and I can’t always easily turn it off. It used to turn off when we pushed the button but recently that stopped working too. I’d like to fix the issue so this doesn’t happen again and if it does I can easily turn it off.

I have one smoke alarm that been beeping as needs replacing. Would also like to get other smoke alarms in house replaced at the same time 3-4 all together

Reattach cupboard door to built in freezer and replace kitchen smoke alarm. You will need to buy a new smoke detector and may need to buy some other stuff to achieve this. I will reimburse for these items

Hi I am looking for a trader who can install one heat alarm detector in the kitchen by taking surface-mounted trunking from the existing hallway main powered smoke alarm, so that it provides permanent live then fit heat detector which connects by the existed main powered Aico smoke alarm then activate if heat went off and send a signal to existing Aico smoke alarms in the property I would be grateful if you could install and supplying to the Aico heat alarm detector that compatible existing smoke alarms. The system was recently installed by a qualified electrician and consists of 4 mains-powered interlinked alarms: • 1 × heat alarm – kitchen • 1 × smoke alarm – lounge • 1 × smoke alarm – ground-floor hallway • 1 × smoke alarm – first-floor hallway/landing We do NOT require a Fire Risk Assessment, EICR, emergency-lighting inspection or general fire-safety inspection. Please confirm with your offer: 1. That you can issue the appropriate BS 5839-6 certificate. 2. Your relevant qualifications/accreditation. 3. Your total price including the certificate and any fees/VAT. The system is newly installed and functioning, so no installation work is currently required.

I’m looking for a qualified/experienced electrician to carry out several small jobs in my one-bedroom flat in Bow. Lighting: Remove and replace 4 existing ceiling light fittings (living room, dining/office area, hallway and bedroom). I will supply all replacement fittings/bulbs. - Living room: replacement of a flush mount with a pendant fitting and lightweight paper shade. - Dining/office: replace an identical flush mount and install pendant fitting and add a small ceiling hook/fixing so the flex can run from the existing electrical point and hang centrally over the dining table. The fitting has adjustable fabric flex. - Hallway: replace existing flush fitting with pendant fitting with exposed bulb. - Bedroom: replace existing pendant fitting with a new pendant fitting with approx. 2m cable. I’d like to retain as much cable length as possible for potentially repositioning the hanging point later. Smoke alarm: - Replace what appears to be an old mains-powered smoke alarm with battery backup with a new mains-powered alarm that I will supply. - There is also a second, empty alarm mounting plate nearby. I’d like this inspected to establish whether it has wiring / was part of an interconnected system. If it is confirmed to be redundant, I’d like the plate removed and any wiring safely dealt with. Please do not disconnect anything if it appears to form part of the building’s communal fire-alarm system. The flat is on the second floor. I am attaching photos of all the existing fittings and can provide links/photos of the replacements in advance. Looking for someone appropriately qualified for both mains lighting and smoke-alarm work, who can test everything after installation. Mains wired smoke alarm requires replacement. Looking for a qualified electrician. New smoke alarm will be on site. Not an exact match for exisiting so new holes might be required. The ne product is the Aico Ei3016.

Light fixtures and smoke alarm

Simple task The 3 old smoke alarms wired in are going off intermittently I suspect low battery I just need a ladder ( for the second floor no lift )and someone to do this as I cannot reach them the ceiling is too high. They do not have to be removed. just stopped.

1. Install 2 replacement smoke alarms and 1 replacement carbon monoxide alarm. Both are at the flat ready to be installed. 2. Remove a broken mirror from the back of a wardrobe door and install a replacement. 3. Tenant says windows aren't closing properly. I want someone to have a look and see if there is an easy fix / assess the issue and report back to me with photos so I can see what the issue is.

Supply and fit a smoke alarm in the hallway on the 2nd floor - battery operated. Re-seal around a bath where there are little gaps in the sealant.

These 3 smoke alarms have been detached from their position. I want that re-fitted and want to make sure that they are working. Also, there is a small leak in the kitchen sink tap. Needs to be investigated and fixed.
