The job requires installing proper control joints in the ceiling lining in line with Aus Standards AS 2589 2017, then patching and repainting the area. This is not a patch-only job. I am specifically looking for someone who understands why control joints are required, where they should be placed, and how to render them correctly to prevent future cracking. I’m looking for someone with experience in similar ceiling crack repairs. Please provide a written quote that briefly explains where the control joints will be installed and the general approach you’ll take. I have four blinds I’d like attached to my back verandah. May or may not be straight forward as metal edge of pergola is thin metal and hollow behind it not solid metal. Not sure if strong enough to hold blinds. Maybe some timber behind it might give it extra support to drill into(?) Please come and have a look first if you like before submitting offer.

We got the wrong mirror installed in our powder. We need someone to remove this mirror from the wall. The mirror is glued to the wall, and we have a basin and a stone bench top that needs to be protected while this work is done. Once the mirror is out, we expect some gyprock with need to be fixed to make the wall even again. We need this work to be done soon, preferably within the next week if possible.
