Would like to replace existing timber decking with composite decking in a teak colour. Supply and install.

Looking for a floor carpenter to provide timber flooring to patch a hole created during Kitchen Reno. Planks are glued to concrete Engineered timber 90mm X 15mm appear to be a mix of spotted gum and Sydney blue gum. It appears we would need to fill in the area using solid timber to cut to size and stich correctly. Once installed would need sand and seal of house flooring (~60sqm).

There is a section of water-damaged timber flooring near the edge of the kitchen cabinets that requires repair. The affected area has already started to warp and lift. Or Pls give a quote.

Need to fill a small gap in existing floorboards with new floorboards cut to size. Approx. area 0.5m by 1m. Trim existing floorboards, remove any existing glue on concrete, cut and install new engineered floorboards which I will supply, glue new floorboards to concrete to neatly match existing floorboards using tongue and groove if possible. I will provide the glue. Prefer job done by someone with experience in laying similar engineered floor boards. Need to bring own tools for job.

Hi Airtaskers, seeking a quote for the following work: Our rear timber deck (approx. 7m x 4m) has deteriorated a little over time. While it’s still structurally sound and usable, we’re looking to have the existing nails replaced with decking screws, followed by a sand and reseal. Our timber bifold doors are also in need of a sand and reseal. Currently, only one leaf of the bifolds opens smoothly, while the others scrape along the internal timber floorboards when opened. Given the house is a 1960s build, we suspect some movement may have occurred over time. Looking for either repair/realignment of the bifolds as part of the same job, or advice on whether this component requires a bifold install specialist to take a look. Appreciate it may be difficult to quote on the bifold door repairs (aside from sanding and resealing) without an onsite inspection. Cheers, Hugh
