Looking for an experienced carpenter/deck builder to remove and replace two existing timber deck pathways and repair a small deck area at the front of a cubby house at my rental property. Scope of works: * Remove and dispose of existing timber decking boards. * Supply and install new low-maintenance composite (eco/composite) decking that won’t require painting or staining and is resistant to rot. * Replace any damaged framing if required (please advise if additional work is needed after inspection). * Remove all rubbish from site. Deck sizes: * Path 1: 2,640mm (L) x 1,200mm (W) * Path 2: 4,780mm (L) x 1,200mm (W) * Small deck area in front of cubby house (see photos) – the timber has rotted and needs replacing. Total decking area is approximately 8.9m², plus the small cubby section. Please quote: * Supply and installation of composite decking. * What brand/product you recommend. * Timeframe for completion. * Any warranty on workmanship.

I’m looking for someone to inspect and repair a section of timber flooring in my hallway. The flooring has lifted/buckled over a small area (see photos). I’d like someone to:- *Repair or relay the affected boards if possible *Ensure the flooring sits flat and blends with the surrounding area Please bring any tools/materials required and let me know if you think replacement boards may be needed. Repair/adjust loose merbau decking boards, front and back of house. * There are half a dozen boards that need reaffixing (nails not screws), some of these need to be realigned too (maybe using some sort of spacer to hold them in position). * There is one section of 3-4 boards that has a slight spring to it, I suspect the joist needs fixing. * While you're here, I'll also ask you to punch back in any other nails which have risen over the years (maybe 20- 30 nails in total). Happy to consider an hourly rate or a fixed amount.

Hi there, I need a handy person or a flooring specialist to repair a damaged section on my timber flooring. The Issue: There is an area with a cluster of heavy dents/scratches (as shown in the photos). The top protective coating in that specific spots have cracked and flaked off slightly due to the impact. The damaged area is relatively small (approx. less than 15cm x 15cm), located on 1 or 2 floorboards. What needs to be done: 1. Clean/lightly sand the loose, cracked coating around the edge of the dent so it doesn’t peel further. 2. Fill the dents to make the surface flush/level with the rest of the floor. (Hard wax melt repair or timber filler method preferred). 3. Touch up with a clear seal/coat (Satin/Gloss) over the repaired spot so it blends in and is protected from moisture. Requirements: Please bring your own tools and materials (matching fillers/wax and touch-up coatings). am not expecting a 100% invisible factory finish, but it needs to be level, sealed, and visually blended in as much as possible so it’s not an eyesore. Looking for a qualified and experienced carpenter/deck builder to ideally repair and rejuvenate our front covered wooden deck at our home in Innaloo. The deck is approximately 6.7m x 3.2m and is worn/weathered in some areas. We’re open to recommendations and pricing options, to replace only the worst affected boards/panels and restore/re-varnish. We would also like the existing L-shaped wooden seating removed, with ideally one section rebuilt/reinstalled along the house wall. The current seating frame may be reusable and the storage space underneath is currently used for a mower and gardening tools, so would like to retain some storage functionality if possible. Decking in the backyard needs to be done with replacing the old rotten wood floor with treated wood

We are looking for a quote to jet wash timber posts (50 mm × 50 mm × 2100 mm) that have some mould on the surface. There are approximately 4,500 pieces strapped on pallets. Each post is about 2 m long and will need to be cleaned using a jet pressure wash. Work details: • A licensed forklift driver will be required. • Pressure washes each timber post to remove mould (some posts have small areas of mould). • Re-paint the timber posts after drying, as required by the factory. • Bundle the posts in groups of 100 pieces and stack them in the storage area.
