Our metal support post from our bed was bent without realising and has scratched four of the floorboards. The scratches are not incredibly deep, but probably a touch more than surface level. The surface area of all scratches would total around 430mm x 280mm. All floorboards run to the wall of the bedroom. I have attached a couple of images of the scratches just for reference. We are not after a 100% perfect colour match (close enough is ok for this job). If possible, we'd be happy with a small sand, fill, colour match and seal job, but happy to listen to any potential solutions. Please note - budget for this job is flexible (not $1234) and happy to be guided by offers.

We are planning on having vinyl flooring installed. Currently the floor is too uneven and squeaky for the flooring company to do the install. We'd like the floor made level and even and the squeaks eliminated. The floor in the hallway, three of the rooms, and a wardrobe is old hardwood timber planks and in a fourth room the floor is large plywood sheets, photos attached. The total area is approximately 60m^2. There's also some gaps that need filling too. It's on the second floor of a house. Looking for an experienced flooring installer to install engineered timber flooring in a small apartment (approx. 24m² total). Existing carpet and underlay will be removed and disposed of prior to installation. Subfloor is a concrete slab, which will be exposed before installation. The slab is expected to be ready for install, however if minor preparation or levelling is required, this can be assessed on site and agreed as an additional cost. Scope of work includes installation of engineered timber flooring (visible in the photos)in the living room and bedroom. The floor boards are to run lengthwise toward balcony (long direction of space), continuously between the rooms with no transition strip and in a straight lay pattern. Please ensure random staggered joints (no repeating patterns), maintaining appropriate expansion gaps and a clean finish. No scotia or skirting required. The sliding door visible in the photos will be removed prior to the works commencing. Materials (supplied): - Engineered timber flooring (already purchased), plank size: 1900mm x 190mm; 26sqm - Acoustic underlay (high-performance, apartment compliant) - Transition trims (for doorway and tiles) - If any other materials are required, I will be happy to provide them. Timber floor repair / sand and refinish small damaged patch I need someone experienced in timber floor repair to inspect and fix a small damaged/discoloured patch on polished timber flooring near the skirting board. The area has surface wear / sanding marks / finish removed, so I need someone who can: assess the damage properly advise whether it needs spot sanding and colour matching re-stain / recoat / refinish the affected section so it blends with the surrounding floor as closely as possible

Decking repair, its about 16 years old so a few patches that get the weather need attention.

There is a section of the timber floor/subfloor that has been cut out and needs repairing before new carpet installation. The damaged area is approximately one panel wide and requires patching or replacing to make the surface level and secure.
