Task Description: Looking for someone to prepare and apply 2 coats of exterior paint/oil to a timber pool deck. I will thoroughly high-pressure the deck of all debris beforehand. The timber will be completely dry and ready. Job Details & Scope: • Total Deck Area: Around 25m² next to the swimming pool. • Required Work: Prepare (chemical deck cleaner/brightener and scrub the timber to prep it if nedded) and apply 2 coats of exterior timber coating evenly across the deck. • Materials: This is a labour-only quote. I’m seeking urgent assistance with a timber floor repair before 23 October. Furniture has caused a long surface scuff/scratch (approximately 2–3 metres). I attempted to remove the mark with light hand sanding, but unfortunately this has left the finish looking cloudy and dull. I’ve since applied Gilly’s Hard Wax Oil, which temporarily improves the appearance, but the marks return once dry. I’m unsure whether the existing finish is polyurethane or hard wax oil. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can assess and repair or blend the affected finish without needing to sand and refinish the entire floor.

Sanding timber decks and stairs - Front porch is about 2.25m x 4.9m. Back porch is about 2m x 2.15m. While I have put in a budget for this, happy to negotiate (reasonably) as I have no concept of what is appropriate for a task like this.

The Merbau is 140mm wide. First the trim pieces around the outer pool deck: Lengths are as follows. 1. Across top stairs - 1300mm 2. Stair top to handrail - 650mm 3. From handrail along to small step down to deck - 2300mm 4. Side of small stairs down to deck - 650mm 5. Across top small stairs to deck - 1200mm 6. Side of small stairs down to deck - 650mm Secondly, underneath the pool gate: Here the pool gate and 2 adjacent side panels will need to be dismantled. Then the Merbau timber replaced. Then the the gate and 2 adjacent side panels reinstated. The length of this piece of Merbau is 2m See photos: 2 IMG_4477 3 IMG_4478 4 IMG_4479 - plus see sketch. TOTAL LENGTH of MERBAU - 8,750mm Lastly, The larger set of pine stairs needs replacing. See photo titles “6 Stairs” I will be wanting the angle of this stair changed as the stairs are too shallow and cause tripping, so I imagine one less tread, slightly steeper angle of stringers, plus the the base of the stringers to be on concrete pads to avoid rotting. Both stringers anjd all treads need to be removed and replaced with completely new treated pine timber.

We are planning on having vinyl flooring installed. Currently the floor is too uneven and squeaky for the flooring company to do the install. We'd like the floor made level and even and the squeaks eliminated. The floor in the hallway, three of the rooms, and a wardrobe is old hardwood timber planks and in a fourth room the floor is large plywood sheets, photos attached. The total area is approximately 60m^2. There's also some gaps that need filling too. It's on the second floor of a house.
