Looking for a handyman or gutter specialist to repair 3 external downpipes at my property. • 2 x Rusted sections : The bottom Of one downpipes has corroded through. One has small leaks at the top. These need the rusted metal treated or cut back, a new matching section or adapter installed/sleeved, and a proper connection made to the round PVC stormwater points. • 1 x Dislodged Pipe: This pipe was pushed out of alignment by a tree trunk (tree is now poisoned). It needs to be realigned, re-secured to the wall, and properly seated back into the stormwater adapter. Scope of Work: • Supply and fit: (Colorbond or PVC replacement sections, adapters, and pop rivets). • Sealant: All junctions must be sealed with high-quality Roof & Gutter silicone (must be UV/waterproof grade for QLD conditions). • Check for Blockages: Briefly check that the underground stormwater adapters aren't blocked with silt while the pipes are disconnected. • Debris: Clear the immediate organic debris away from the base of the dislodged pipe to prevent future rust. Requirements: • Must have your own ladder and tools (metal snips, rivet gun, etc.). • Please provide photos of previous similar repairs if possible.
