I’m looking for 2 experienced removalists/packers to help pack the contents of my townhouse in Preston into 3 TAXIBOX storage containers. The TAXIBOXES will be delivered between 0730 and 0900 on Monday and collected later that afternoon, so the packing needs to be completed within a few hours. This is not a house move. Everything is simply being packed securely into storage containers. The job includes: * Carefully wrapping and protecting furniture where required * Loading and packing 3 TAXIBOX containers efficiently to maximise space * Securing everything to minimise movement during transport and storage * Taking extra care with fragile and valuable items The contents are approximately: * Queen bed frame (disassembled) * Glass top dining table + 4 chairs * 3-seat leather sofa * Wooden Desk + desk chair * TV unit * Sideboard * Steel, glass and wood bookcase * Coffee table * 2 sets of drawer units * Bicycle * 2 ottomans * Fridge * Microwave * 2 computer monitors (boxed) * Around 40 moving boxes * Plant pots * Several framed artworks * Various household items Important: My furniture is predominantly mid-century modern solid timber and glass, so I’m looking for someone who genuinely takes pride in handling furniture properly. Many of these pieces are valuable and difficult to replace, so care is more important than speed. Ideally you will: * Have professional removalist experience * Know how to load storage containers efficiently * Be experienced moving timber and glass furniture * Bring moving blankets, straps and any other protective equipment you recommend (please let me know what you’ll supply) * Have excellent Airtasker reviews for furniture removals/packing Please let me know: * Whether your offer includes one or two people * How long you expect the job to take * Your experience with packing storage containers * What protective materials/equipment you’ll bring I’m happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos of the furniture if needed.
