I am only relocating two streets away literally less than a two minute drive. I only need to move stuff from my room into a new one bedroom ground floor unit. The items that I need moved are a cupboard that is reasonably medium sized a desk a queen size mattress and a queen sized bedframe that will need to be disassembled and reassembled at the new unit apart from that they will likely just be some boxes of stuff that needs moving but if it cuts the price I can honestly just do that myself. Most quotes that I am getting online have a minimum two hour charge and the lowest quote I have gotten for this is $400 which I think is quite high for what will likely be less than an hours worth of work.
