I need someone with solid experience in deck maintenance to prepare and oil two decks - one large one of around 78 sqm and the other a small one of 8 sqm. The large one is only 12 months old and will come up very well with careful preparation to restore the colour. I will provide the Intergrain decking products - UltraPrep Cleaner and Universal Timber Oil, as well as deck brushes, cutting brushes (for use around the adjoining house) and trays, for a process involving 1. Cleaning the deck thoroughly to restore colour, and 2. Applying two coats of oil (allowing overnight for the first coat to dry). Ideally you will provide (a) a high pressure water cleaner (Gerni or similar) to wash off the cleaner and (b) a sanding machine, for use only in the event this is needed to even up colour across parts of the deck that still have the previous oil product on them. Hi, Our deck needs to be washed thoroughly with a high pressure washer (supplied by you). Deck size is around 80sqm. There is a spa and the deck oil also has to be applied around the spa. After washing and once the deck is dry, 2 coats of oil need to be applied. Deck cleaning solution, oil, and applicators will be supplied by us.
