The existing paint is very old and consists of multiple different colours, so thorough preparation is essential. Preparation requirements (very important): •Strip back and properly prepare all painted surfaces (including walls, ceiling, curve/cornice area, window frames, doors) •Fill numerous cracks throughout the walls, wardrobes, where the wall meets the ceiling curve/cornice area. •Sand and smooth all filled areas to ensure a completely even finish. •Proper surface preparation is critical – no shortcuts. Painting requirements: •Apply 2–3 full coats to achieve an even, high-quality finish. •Use painter’s tape and proper masking to ensure very clean lines and precise edges. •I am very particular about the finish, so attention to detail is essential.
