We’re looking for someone to help us with our home on a regular basis, ideally 2-4 hours every fortnight. We have a newborn, so having someone reliable to help keep on top of the house would make a huge difference. We’re looking for someone who is thorough, has a great eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. Quality is much more important to us than rushing through a checklist. The bathrooms and kitchen are always the priority, and after that we’d love someone who can use their judgement to tackle whatever will make the biggest difference that day; whether that’s cleaning the stovetop, folding laundry, ironing, watering the plants, or another household task. It would also be great if they could keep track of the less frequent cleaning jobs, such as skirting boards, windows, light switches and cupboard fronts, so they get done without us needing to ask. We also have a very friendly large dog, who can be outside while you’re here but something to consider. We’re looking for someone who understands the unique demands of a family home with a newborn and who is reliable, proactive, and takes genuine pride in their work. We’d love to build a long-term relationship with someone we can trust and rely on every fortnight.
