We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Home Assistant to support the smooth running of a private household in Brighton, Victoria. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining a well-organised home, preparing meals, and proactively supporting the daily needs of a busy family. The successful candidate will take pride in high standards, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and work independently while anticipating household needs. The family is a bilingual household, with proficiency in English and Mandarin. The salary will be paid fortnightly and you will work full-time (8 am to 5 pm) on weekdays and weekends (if necessary) or Sunday to Thursday (3 pm to 7pm per day). Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping & Home Care (All cleaning equipment will be provided): Daily upkeep and presentation of all living spaces Cleaning bedrooms including changing of bedsheets, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas Vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, and general cleaning as required Outdoor cleaning tasks such as gardening, blower vacuuming leaves Organising cupboards, wardrobes, drawers, and storage areas Assisting errands and appointment assistance as required Fetching children from school when required Laundry Care: Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry Ironing and steaming clothing and household linens Cooking & Kitchen Support: Daily kitchen cleaning and upkeep Meal planning and preparation Cooking and sharing meals with the family Grocery unpacking Organising pantry and refrigerator
