We’re looking for an experienced landscaper to undertake the basic structural/ground preparation for our backyard renovation in City Beach. At this stage just want to get the “bones” of the landscaping completed as economically as possible. Scope: 1. Rear retaining wall Approx. 9.3m long x 600mm high behind the existing tree. - Existing tree to remain - Open to timber sleeper/post, concrete panel and post, limestone or another suitable system (again taking the cost conscious approach). Do not need to back fill behind the top retaining wall. 2. Level main lawn area Level/grade the central section of the backyard to create a large, relatively flat lawn area, broadly as shown in the attached concept. Bring in and spread appropriate sand/soil as required. Finish the area at the appropriate level and condition ready for grass/turf to be laid. Turf itself does not need to form part of the quote, although happy for it to be priced separately. 3. Basic reticulation, if possible While the ground is open, install/relocate the retic pipework and sprinkler heads required for the lawn. We don't necessarily need solenoids/controller etc. at this stage. The aim is to have the underground infrastructure in place before the lawn goes down. 4. Site preparation Remove/redistribute excess soil and rubble as required. Leave the area tidy and essentially ready for lawn and the later landscaping/planting stage. We’re trying to keep this first stage simple and cost effective, so we're very open to recommendations on materials or construction methods that achieve the same result for less. I can also provide the site survey showing existing levels. Please let me know your proposed approach/material, indicative cost and availability. Quote on labour only.

Demolition and prep: - Pull down and remove a small tin shed and two small wooden gates. - Remove existing ground cover (pebbles and some larger stones) and dispose. - Install one new soakwell, plus some perimeter work around two existing soakwells. - Prep ground: bedding sand, compacted and levelled. Paving and garden bed: -Supply and lay brick paving over approx. 24 sqm. Red brick, lay pattern to continue from the driveway, right through. - Build a brick or limestone garden bed connecting to the new brickwork. If limestone, a thinner limestone block. Fencing: - Supply and install a white steel picket-style fence with a gate, approx. 170cm high (to match the boundary fence) and 210cm wide. - Supply and install a white picket fence-style steel gate, 85cm wide x 170cm high, for the other side of the house, to replace the existing wooden one (see photo).

Needs these rocks moved so I can plant ground cover here. - The large steppers don’t need to be moved. - The area is 5.5m by 1.2m. - It’s only a thin layer of stones on weed mat (see pictures) - Easy to access (side of house) - I will provide strong bags or containers for the rocks, which will remain here (disposal not required). Hi - I have a series of landscaping jobs.  For this first phase I would like to tidy up the side of my house. Job involves two small areas: Area 1: 114 x 143 cm area  - Lay down pebbles to cover garden bed Area 2: 114 x 950 cm area - Bring in travertine tiles 2.5 m from end closest to Area 1. - Concrete in 3 timber posts that rise around 2.2 - 2.4 m above the ground for future trellis  - Plant 10 small shrubs in front of the trellis - Lay down pebbles to cover garden bed 

End of construction job. I have sand left on asphalt laneway near waste bin and driveway entrance that needs to be swept up / scooped with shovel into builders waste bin. Must be completed before end of day on Friday 12th as waste bin getting collected on Saturday 13th.

I have 100 bags of 20kg of sand that I need moved from the front of the building to the back into a sandpit for kids. "We've got a trolley to carry the bags in. Bag and place in sand pit. Then do the same with 10 bags of mulch and spread into the garden beds. It should be a 2.5 hour job. I need some help with this task. The person is not doing this alone.
