Old toilet seat has a crack. I need to buy a replacement seat. We would usually do this task ourselves but having trouble getting old one removed - please see pictures attached. Also needing fly screens replaced on sliding doors. I need to purchase materials from Bunnings today and need job completed by tomorrow due to lease ending - flexible with time!

Our toilet seat fixings won't stay in place. I've tried getting new fixing, bolts etc. but its beyond me. Essentially there's a metal plate that fixes to the toilet with a bolt. You place a plastic expanded in the hole and when you screw the bolt in the plastic expander...expands and is supposed to hold the fixing plate solidly in place...ours doesn't and the seat comes off all the time...for the right person this is probs a 15min job
