This has left small gaps in the cornice at the ceiling line (see photos). I have spare matching cornice pieces on site, which came from the removed wall, and can be reused. No painting required as the painter will paint over it once installed. This is a bunnings shower screen. The hinges are such that I lift the door and tighten the hinges, but it always drops eventually. I also tried putting in a washer to lift the door mechanically, but the surface area of the hinge isnt enough either. The screen opens outwards, so when it drops, it doesnt close against the tilling and then water flows out... causing damage outside. Help please! any permanent fixes without a full blown replacement?

Internal door has water damage, buy and replace existing door. dispose of old door. If the door is already white, doesnt have to be painted. Any touch up for old hinge holes as required.
