Following the removal of a 20 year old gas stove we need to make good the existing fireplace. Particularly the back which was cut out to take the rear of the gas fire. There is water coming into the ceiling at the point next to the evaporative air conditioner vent. This happened quite suddenly, rather than a gradual increase over a period of time.
