I need approx 2–2.5cm trimmed off the bottom of one hollow-core bedroom door as new carpet has been installed and the door no longer clears it. The door is currently approx. 201cm high. The job involves removing the door, cutting/trimming the required amount, sanding the underside and rehanging it. There are two possible scenarios: 1. Trim only – $100: Remove the door, trim 2–2.5cm from the bottom, sand and rehang it, provided the existing bottom timber rail remains sufficient and the hollow section is not exposed. 2. Timber reinforcement if required – additional $50, $150 total: If trimming exposes the hollow section, install or reposition a timber rail at the bottom so the door is properly reinforced, then sand, seal the underside, and rehang the door. Please bring all required tools and materials. Provide offers only for scenario 1 (trimming).

Hi all, I have a set of french doors that I need installed into an existing door jamb. Please see images attached. I have the hinges/hardware. The door jamb will need to have spots chiseled out for the hinge locations. The door jamb is wood. We are located by Balmoral Beach. Off street parking is available. I am looking for help to hang 1x solid timber- / 10 lite glass internal door. I have purchased new hinges . The door jam will need to be chiseled to fit the hinges. The door already has recesses for the hinges (see pictures).
