Hang four standard internal doors including door hardware with three hinges

Paint the walls, fix two door handles, clean carpets. (4 rooms)

Need someone to supply and install a set of doors to replace these rotted doors (same style). Also want to install a simple awning above to limit weather exposure.

Need a handyman to drill lock on back door (see photo) and install sensor light in backyard (see photo) will need own drill and ladder. Thanks

I’m replacing old locks/levers on 3 internal doors with new Gainsborough Matte Black Choice Harper Square Privacy Lever Sets (60mm backset, 54mm bore, 25mm edge bore — I’ll supply the handles, latches and instructions). The old hardware has already been removed. Scope: 1. Patch 2 door edges: two doors had mortice locks, leaving rectangular cavities in the door edges. These need solid timber infill blocks, glued and packed tight, planed/sanded flush — the new 25mm latch bore and faceplate screws go straight through the patched area, so it must be solid. Please bring suitable timber and adhesive. • Door 1 (bathroom): cavity approx. 100mm high x 17.5mm wide, door thickness 34.8mm • Door 2 (second bathroom): cavity approx. 57mm high x 16mm wide, door thickness 34mm • Please verify cavity depth on site — I haven’t measured it 2. Drill new holes in all 3 doors: 54mm face bore at 60mm backset + 25mm edge bore. Third door (bedroom, 34mm thick) has no cavity — drill and fit only. Note: all 3 doors have existing old spindle holes (~14–23mm) that overlap the new bore centre, so a hole saw pilot bit won’t have material to engage. You’ll need to clamp a sacrificial board over the face to guide the hole saw, or use a lock installation jig. The old holes fall entirely within the new 54mm bore and will be drilled away. 3. Install the 3 lever sets including latches and strike plates, chiselling strike plate recesses in the jambs as needed, and confirm doors latch and the privacy function works. Doors can stay on their hinges. Painting/finishing not required. You’ll need a 54mm hole saw, 25mm spade/auger bit and chisels.

I need to put a new small dog door in. I habe purchased a new one but is slightly bigger so door needs to be cut just a little bit to fit new one

Need an experienced handyman or sliding door technician to replace the bottom roller assembly on a sliding wardrobe door and re-align it so it slides smoothly. The Issue: One sliding wardrobe door is dragging/sticking on the bottom track. The height adjustment screw on one bottom corner is stripped and spinning continuously without raising the door. The bottom roller mechanism needs to be replaced.

I’m looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to complete a few jobs at my home on Thursday. Jobs include: * Install 2 x IKEA VIDGA curtain tracks in bedrooms (tracks will need to be cut to size). * Hang 2 pairs of IKEA SANELA curtains on the tracks. * Install 1 standard curtain rod and hang curtains over a doorway. * Plane/shave 3 internal bedroom doors in preparation for new carpet being installed the following day. Please bring your own tools, including: * Saw suitable for cutting aluminium curtain tracks. * Door planer. * General carpentry tools. I’m looking for someone who has experience installing curtain tracks (IKEA or similar) and who takes care to ensure everything is level and neatly finished.

Sliding door has come off one of its rail, I tried to remove bracket but the nail fitting has lost its thread . I don’t have the required tool and hence need someone who can do this job

We have just had carpet laid in three bedrooms. We require three main doors and four French doors to have the bottom shaved so that they glide above the carpet.
