Spring repair/new spring required for single garage door

I just need someone to seal some gaps under the kitchen pipes area, cupboard etc., (so the roache/crickets can't get in! Grrr) and add a door strip (from the outside-eg photo from the neighbour door). Must have an ABN and Insurance as I’m renting.

I’m replacing old locks/levers on 3 internal doors with new Gainsborough Matte Black Choice Harper Square Privacy Lever Sets (60mm backset, 54mm bore, 25mm edge bore — I’ll supply the handles, latches and instructions). The old hardware has already been removed. Scope: 1. Patch 2 door edges: two doors had mortice locks, leaving rectangular cavities in the door edges. These need solid timber infill blocks, glued and packed tight, planed/sanded flush — the new 25mm latch bore and faceplate screws go straight through the patched area, so it must be solid. Please bring suitable timber and adhesive. • Door 1 (bathroom): cavity approx. 100mm high x 17.5mm wide, door thickness 34.8mm • Door 2 (second bathroom): cavity approx. 57mm high x 16mm wide, door thickness 34mm • Please verify cavity depth on site — I haven’t measured it 2. Drill new holes in all 3 doors: 54mm face bore at 60mm backset + 25mm edge bore. Third door (bedroom, 34mm thick) has no cavity — drill and fit only. Note: all 3 doors have existing old spindle holes (~14–23mm) that overlap the new bore centre, so a hole saw pilot bit won’t have material to engage. You’ll need to clamp a sacrificial board over the face to guide the hole saw, or use a lock installation jig. The old holes fall entirely within the new 54mm bore and will be drilled away. 3. Install the 3 lever sets including latches and strike plates, chiselling strike plate recesses in the jambs as needed, and confirm doors latch and the privacy function works. Doors can stay on their hinges. Painting/finishing not required. You’ll need a 54mm hole saw, 25mm spade/auger bit and chisels.

Door has been damaged by dog licking, chewing bottom of door, and scratching and licking around door handle. You’ll need to sand, putty and paint those areas damaged.

We need blinds installed and a door knob installed.

Remove bathroom door to make way for washer. Move current washer out. Last nail is just stuck

Patch repair (there may be some minor movement in one section, noted below). Three areas: 1. Hole/damaged corner next to window — needs proper build-up, not just a surface fill. FYI when I press against the window head (horizontal surface of the window architrave next to the window frame), it moves slightly. 2. Crack going up the wall around vent (5-7mm wide approx, varies by area). 3. Cracks along where ceiling meets wall (cornice line). No need to paint — just want it filled and finished ready for me to paint separately.

My sliding door is grinding. Track looks fine but rollers may be worn.

The hinge of a door at our bathroom has come of and it's broken. Needs to be replaced.

wardrobe door hanging to be fixed

I have a lever door handle that repeatedly comes off the spindle. This has been happening since the handle was brand new, so it appears the spindle isn’t holding/securing the handle correctly rather than being an issue caused by wear over time. The mounting plate appears to be securely attached to the door. I’m looking for someone experienced with door hardware to: * Diagnose why the handle keeps coming off * Permanently fix the issue, rather than simply refitting/tightening the handle * Replace the spindle or any other components if required * Ideally retain the existing brass handle and hardware Happy to pay for any replacement parts required in addition to the job price. Looking for a handyman to fix one internal bedroom door that is catching on the door frame and sticking when closing. Details: Single wooden internal bedroom door. Needs alignment adjustment (tightening/swapping hinge screws) or minor edge sanding/planing so it swings and closes smoothly. Please bring your own standard tools (screwdriver, long wood screws, sander/plane if needed). Flexible on timing but needs to fit around our 1-year old naps (usually naps between 1030 - 1145 am and 230 pm- 4 pm) —happy to arrange a quick time that suits this week.
